“The Corona crisis has shown its impact on global politics and economy and the social implications are also becoming more apparent day by day. Political measures to contain the pandemic often affect the socially weaker members of society and provide a breeding ground for conspiracy myths. We want to discuss these effects of the Corona crisis from the perspective of political psychology and, in particular, in the context of social cohesion. Students will be given a voice, and scientific exchange between related disciplines will be promoted. In four thematic blocks, the symposium will address the question of the impact of the Corona crisis on individual experience and behavior and ultimately on social cohesion.
